The Federal Government, through the Special Secretariat for Policies for the Promotion of Racial Equality (Seppir) has launched a support line for public policy projects aimed at the black LGBT population.
The novelty allocates R $ 2 million to projects, divided to strengthen bodies that promote racial equality, support public policies and policies for traditional communities.
Seppir’s head, Juvenal Araújo says that the action seeks to reduce the separation of groups. “Coping with these discriminations needs to contemplate strategies that jointly address these separations,” he says.
The announcement of the National System for the Promotion of Racial Equality (Sinapir) is available and will receive until August 18, proposals from public administration bodies, belonging to states, municipalities and the Federal District, in addition to public consortia.
