A new Burger King campaign in the United States decided to talk about bullying. Over there, 30% of children go through this every year.
In the video, young actors pretended to go through a bullying situation at a restaurant of the brand, while many consumers just watch the scene. For them, a crushed Whopper Jr. (who “had been bullied” by the clerk who had prepared the snack in the kitchen) was served.
The result was expressive: 95% went to the counter to complain about the destroyed snack. But only 12% of customers who saw the bullying scene intervened. The ending is exciting, with adults and young adults talking to the attackers and also with the boy victim of the situation.
