Representativeness of LGBTs does not reach 0.5% in commercials

A survey showed that in the last half of 2017 the representation of LGBT people in commercials did not reach 0.5%. The index, which equals 0.33%, is lower than the first half of the same year.

The numbers come at a time when LGBT campaigns are being used by businesses. Proof of this is that between 2016 and 2017 the index jumped from 0% to 0.47%.

In the same line, the representativeness of blacks increased and an improvement was observed.
