Research has shown that that satisfaction and sense of well-being after sex can last up to two days in the body. There were more than 214 newly married couples who participated for two weeks of the study.
Made by the State University of Florida in the United States, the research was based on individual reports. And on a scale of zero to seven, they rated their sex life with their partner and their relationship as a whole, plus the quality of the union within six months.
Sexual satisfaction, which lasts for 48 hours after sex, has the same amount of time the body needs for maximum sperm concentration to be restored.
The result was the same in all analyzed couples, regardless of age or gender.
