The UK’s Rowers’ team, Warwick Rowers, took off their clothes once again to raise funds for Sports Allies, an outreach program that works to eliminate homophobia in sport through the education and support of young LGBT athletes.
For the year 2018, athletes have made a point of staying as they came to the world in a wonderful rehearsal. For calendar producer and LGBT rights activist, Warwick Rowers, his outfit goes way beyond a sensual essay. “The calendar, the book and the movies are a little fun, but the message behind nudity is more serious,” he says.
“Warwick Rowers are brilliant sportsmen and great allies for the gay community, they are straight men who face their privilege and become part of the solution.” The nudity in our calendar is therapeutic and purposeful (you might say that again). by many people who were offended by sportsmen at school and found that the Rowers helped them reach a full circle, “he explains.
